Results of the Breakdown Screen Printing Posted on April 12, 2014 by ruthlane under fibers, surface design Here are the results from the screen printing session yesterday. The top photos are on fabric and the bottom ones on sketchbook paper. I added the “trilobite” print to the sketchbook page to see if I like how it looked. 0.000000 0.000000 Share this:TwitterFacebookPinterestLike this:Like Loading... Related
You certainly have a variety of results. I particularly like the top orange, circles with aqua background and the green and white on paper. What will you do with them?
Yes, the results do vary, don’t they? The paper will go back in the sketchbook as backgrounds. I have already started a notebook cover with the orange one
Not sure on the others yet.

I love the trilobite print, I would say he’s too good to be “just” a background. Would really like to see him on a mottled background made to look like a fossil nestling in rock…
Thanks Teri – the trilobite got glued down to the page. I have to paint a bit more and then I will show him again. I made a silk screen of the trilobite so I can print him again and again.
