Aspen Tree

I have been working on my homework for Level 3 Art and Design.  The last couple of weeks has been doing a tree study.

Here’s the tree I picked to study.

Here’s a look into my sketchbook. I am really enjoying this study and now I want to do a bunch of different trees. I guess I will see how much I can get done before I go back to class in December. What have you been working on?

  1. I am inspired by your drawings. Your technique is really lovely. Makes me want to go back to school, despite having earned my degree almost 40 years ago. So very glad to see that these kinds of studies are still being done. I applaud you and I applaud your instructors. After all, you authored and illustrated one of the best felting books available and you’re doing tree studies! Bravo!
