I spent about three hours today cleaning up my studio. I reorganized the shelves as well. I didn’t go through everything but it is certainly a bit more workable. There’s still the same amount of stuff just better organized.
Here’s the view in from the hall. Look there’s a table!
And you can see the sewing machine.
The table is ready to start a project.
There’s still tons of stuff under the table.
And on the shelves and hopefully I will be able to find everything.
I could even use the needle felting machine.
I even reorganized the tub of fabric that’s hidden in this cabinet. It was a mess.
And for a little bit of nature’s inspiration, I’ll show you some fall colors.
Have a great weekend!
Good for you Ruth! It looks great, for now. :-). You’re ready to get going! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thanks Marilyn!
Is it the same room? Just kidding! It’s a good size and I like the way you have different work stations all set up and ready to go (sewing machine, needle felting machine and general work table).
Your autumn colours are beautiful. I don’t see many here yet – we’re having a drawn-out end to summer. September has been warm and sunny and most of the trees still have their summer clothes on.
It might even be in a different house Lyn 🙂 I do like having the different work stations so that I can move from one to another. It’s gotten fairly cold here and I think summer is pretty much over.
Good Luck finding anything now! 😉
It looks great, Ruth 🙂
Thanks Zed! I’m sure everything will be completely lost until the next time I clean up and go “Oh, that’s where that was.”
You are to be commended for a great job cleaning up the studio! It always feels so great after organizing things.
Question is, how long will it stay that way? ;-))
Thanks Cathy. It’s already got stuff all over the table and a few things drying on the floor. It never stays clean for long.
Oh no, now I feel I should do something about my space. *Guilty face*
Kim – that was certainly not my intention. I just couldn’t find any work space under all that stuff. It is already back covered in work again 🙂
