Here’s Brunhilda finally finished. She’s got high heel shoes and a necklace.

Here are the colors I dyed to make some more cat toys – most is mixed breed wool but the yellow is merino. My sister Rebekah helped me dye the wool. We used the “paint and steam” method.

Here’s some silk I dyed with acid dyes combining Aztec Gold and Chestnut Brown in an attempt for copper colored. I tried this due to a discussion I had with Anne on the felting forum. I think I should have added more brown and a slight touch of red.

This is my garden inspired challenge. Needle felted on a commercial fabric backing, wool locks, silk hankies and specialty yarns. I am making it into a small quilted wall hanging. The flowers are made from silk hankies that were sprayed with spray starch and then shaped into flowers and ironed.
