We had company for the last 4 days. Our friends Howie and Janine came from Chicago. So I didn’t get much fiber art done this week. We were busy out on the lake, going to Glacier National Park and volunteering for Brewfest, a fundraiser for the SNOW Bus (runs up and down the mountain from Whitefish).
We went on a hike in Glacier National Park to Hidden Lake. It was 3 miles in and 3 miles back. Because of all the wildfires in the western US including several in the park itself, there was a lot of smoke. But it was still beautiful with plenty of inspiration to be found. Enjoy!
Truly very very beautiful…thanks for sharing all this gorgeous photo.
Thanks Judy – it is beautiful in GNP π
What a wonderful place, such beautiful scenery and so much wildlife. Thanks for taking us on your walk. Karen
You are most welcome Karen! I love to share the beauty of Montana π
Lots of inspiration there Ruth. Lots of lovely textures – the forest fires aren’t good news, especially for the wildlife, but the smoke gives a softening effect.
Thanks Judith – I do love to visit the park frequently for all the natural beauty.
Such beautiful scenery, wonderful colours, and you did well to capture some of the wildlife in your photos.
Thanks Lyn. The wildlife are actually pretty used to people taking photos. They are right along the trail and will walk right past you.
Gorgeous photos, Ruth π
Thanks Zed.
Gorgeous scenery, thanks for sharing. Certainly no lack of inspiration!
Thanks Marilyn – yes, Glacier National Park is a gorgeous area.
Soooo jealous, what stunning scenery!
It is wonderful to live here – I am grateful for the beauty every day π
