This first photo is a little taste of what I’m currently working on. It’s a gift for my niece for Christmas. It still has a long way to go. This is based on an article from CPS but I am modifying it to make a notebook cover instead of a wall hanging.
This second photo is based on an article from QA for a book wrap. I think I am going to try and modify it into a padfolio but I want to have irregular edges. We’ll see if I can figure out how to do that and attach the lining/pockets etc. without losing the design of the edge. It still has FME and fabrication to go.
Here’s my completed green padfolio. It has a variety of fabrics and novelty yarns.
Here’s the inside.
Here’s a closeup.
I love the green padfolio. It made me realize that I don’t often work with green – need to do something about that! Can’t wait to see the two other pieces!
Hi RuthI love the green one… the tones and textures all work together so wonderfully! [thanks for finding me so I could find you! lol] namaste Elis.
