Today we had our mini exhibition and quite few people showed up. Everyone was very complimentary of our work. We also worked on several ways of book binding.  We also made some hand stitched fringe. Tomorrow is the last day and I’m sad. I will really miss everyone in our class. Then we’ll be heading back to Montana. I could not get the post to publish with photos so I’m trying without.

Today in class we made another machine stitched book with a different method of binding. It used ribbon to hold it together. We just made a prototype so it is  white. We also worked on a mounting method and matting some of our other pieces. We are having a mini exhibition tomorrow.

Today in class we worked on an accordion style book.

First we did a mock up.

Then one page with holes cut out and the stitched.

And the last page is just started. It will be filled with various sections of stitch.

I got a large dose of fiber today as it was the first day of the last session of our stitch class. We started on machine stitched books and had last sessions work reviewed. My bead book was well received so I was happy. You can see the center where I attend class at their website. Sorry there aren’t any photos but I left my camera at the center. I will get those photos up tomorrow, I promise!
