I have been packing all week to go to an art retreat this weekend with my local surface design group. I think I packed the entire house.
Here’s part of the stuff I’m taking. We are going to be doing eco printing and then I’m going to do some gelatin plate printing and some painting/mixed media/collage type stuff. We will be at a lodge that isn’t heated and it’s been a bit cold here so I’ve got lots of layers to keep warm.
Here’s the car packed up and ready to go. You can’t really see how much stuff is in there but I am bringing some firewood. I’ll take lots of photos (if I remember in the midst of all that creating) and show you what we did when I get back. Have a great weekend.
Looks like fun. Where is the retreat? Are you having any special guests?
Thanks Darcy. We had the retreat in Marion, Montana at the Kiwanis Lodge. No special guests.
Have fun – looking forward to seeing pics.
We had a blast and I’ll write a post soon.
Sounds like fun, enjoy!
It was great fun!
Have fun and I hope you manage to get it all packed in the car for the trip back, I’ve never understood why but I always need 50% more space for the trip home!
Thanks Teri! I did get rid of the fire wood so there was a bit more space but stuff does seem to multiply like rabbits.
Hope it was a productive retreat – what a treat! Look forward to seeing the pics.
It was great Kim! Photos coming soon.
